I hope this message finds you in good spirits and thriving as we venture further into the year. Today, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey together and extend my sincerest gratitude for being a part of Moxi Boutique's incredible story.
It feels like just yesterday that I embarked on this entrepreneurial journey at the age of 23, armed with a degree in digital advertising and a minor in textiles, apparel, and merchandising. I wrote my business plan during my last semester at LSU, I could never have imagined that this dream of mine would blossom into the beautiful reality that is Moxi Boutique today.
Without the unwavering belief and support of a special family member, this wouldn't have been possible. With 4 years of retail experience (Shoutout to Elise and Ashley at Bella Bella Boutique) and plenty of enthusiasm, I embarked on the challenging task of an entire store build out for Moxi Boutique while maintaining our strong e-commerce presence. Fast forward to today, and I am humbled to have grown from a one-person operation to a team of five wonderful individuals who share the same passion and dedication for serving our customers. I've also had the joy of watching so many past employees earn their degrees and venture into the workforce armed with the skills they learned through Moxi. Playing a small role in these girls' professional journeys has been one of my greatest joys!
Over the past 5.5 years, we have been privileged to serve thousands of amazing customers, each one contributing to our growth and success. Your kind words and feedback have been instrumental in maintaining an exceptional 4.9-star rating on Google with over 43 reviews, and for that, we are truly grateful.
As a local brick and mortar boutique, we have faced our fair share of challenges, particularly this year with the rise of ultra-fast fashion brands like Shein and the convenience of online giants like Amazon. However, your unwavering support and commitment to shopping small have been the pillars that have allowed us to continue on.
